Jenna brings extensive experience in green building, sustainable development, and climate solutions including an almost 15-year tenure at Green Building Alliance (GBA). GBA works across all sectors and with communities to create spaces that are as healthy for people as they are for the environment. Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, GBA leads impactful programmes and initiatives throughout the region and strategically partner with networks across the country and world.
Jenna leads GBA’s strategic vision to positively transform the world through the built environment to create a healthy, just, and sustainable future for everyone. She guides the organisation’s impactful and award-winning programmes throughout the region and creates transformative partnerships across the country and world that have a meaningful impact on climate, health, equity, and economic vitality. She works collaboratively across diverse sectors and communities and prioritizes people, human health, climate, compassion, and justice in all endeavors.
A Pittsburgh native, Jenna received her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and public policy analysis at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and Living Future accredited professional. She has been named a Living Future Hero by the International Living Future Institute, recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s 40 Under 40 and Pittsburgh Business Times’ 20 People to Know in Energy, and honored as a person who made significant impact on UNECE’s Sustainable Energy Division at its 30-year anniversary. A mother, educator, creator, dreamer, and collaborator, Jenna’s life passion is helping people and places thrive.
