Clara O’Neill

Clara is the co-founder and principal at BON Total Planning Solutions, a private urban planning consultancy based in Cork City. She is the Chair of the ‘Cork City 2030’ pillar of the Cork Business Association and is responsible for lobbying on behalf of the business community in respect of Retail, Infrastructure, Housing, Climate and Tourism.  With a background in public/government policy Clara has a keen interest in Cork City’s journey towards becoming a net zero carbon city and she currently sits on the Climate Neutral Cork Leadership Group as well as the Community, Culture and Placemaking SPC for Cork City Council.  Having been involved in the establishment of the ‘Victorian Quarter’ in Cork City, Clara is particularly interested in community-based initiatives which empower stakeholders to achieve key placemaking outcomes.
